Partnerships
Southern Film Review considers a limited range of collaborations that make sense for readers interested in Southern film. Any commercial relationship is disclosed plainly and kept distinct from independent editorial judgment.
Possible collaborations
We consider relevant cultural, educational and film-related collaborations, including clearly identified partner features, event or publication announcements, and standing partner placements. Proposals should explain the subject, intended audience, format, timing and any payment or other benefit involved.
Clear labels, editorial boundaries
Paid or partner material is labelled where readers encounter it. A placement does not imply editorial endorsement, and partners cannot require a review, dictate a conclusion or disguise promotional copy as independent coverage. We may decline proposals that do not fit the publication or that would confuse readers about who is speaking.

Send partnership proposals through the Contact page and select the partnership option. Include enough detail to assess fit, but do not send confidential information. No placement is confirmed until the scope, wording, labelling and terms have been agreed.
A place is more than a backdrop
Films can show how a region is imagined, remembered and questioned. We read those choices closely without treating any single film as the whole story.
